Sometimes my own ego, and the extent to how big it is, amazes even me!!!



I wasn't going to blog today except to post saying that I wasn't going to blog today which is the same as posting a blog!!

I don't know why I have a compulsion to blog EVERY DAY and have since I started blogging over 2 and a half years ago. Do I feel the Internet will collapse if I don't?

When I was working for 48 years I was proud of my record of having never missed a day by calling in sick. I think, in the back of my head, I figured whatever place I was working would go out of business!!! I like to think that if I called in sick it would put a burden on my co-workers though I know when I was a server I was glad people called in sick because that meant I would get more tables and, consequently, I would make more money!

Now ego or not I KNOW a place wouldn't go out of business if I didn't show and the Internet wouldn't collapse if I didn't post a blog every day BUT, for the owners of the businesses and the owners of the blog sites (and you), I don't want to take that chance--so it's not ego just my concern for others!!! (Or could it be that no one would notice?!?!? LOL)

Oh, in case you didn't notice I do have a healthy ego!!
