There
are so many different types of restaurants in the Fort Lauderdale area
it sometimes amazes me but it certainly gives us a lot of choices of
various foods. I had a coupon for Big City and I was hoping I would get a good burger so
off we went and when we got there discovered they didn't have burgers!
Normally I will order what a place is known for but, as much as I love
them, because of the sodium content I usually stay away from hot dogs.
Looking
over the menu and the chalk board specials across the front of the
place I decided on the Philly cheese Steak sandwich special ($9) which
came with fries and a soda. Allen ordered the hot dog with onions and
chili special ($9) also with fries and a soda. They had a few tables
around the building and though I don't like eating outside there was a
breeze so it wasn't too busy. We did have company but I don't share my
food so he was out of luck!
Allen
sort of liked his hot dog and could see why they charged $9 for the
whole thing but he didn't seem that thrilled while eating. I enjoyed the
Philly but cheese whiz just doesn't do it for me.
All
in all it was a 'different' kind of lunch but not one that we will be
repeating soon though the Dairy Queen we had after was darn good!!
