I almost didn't post a blog today. I, me, Martin, GreatMartin, the birthday boy didn't know what to post about. I had misplaced my 'future blogs' list and now that I am old I didn't remember what was on it or where it is!!

It was then I realized that I had just spent 3 hours--3 HOURS!!!--doing something I NEVER do and it was all my fault. Why not write about that???

I was cleaning out the bird cages in the living room and putting the dirty food and water cups in the kitchen sink. I put vinegar and bleach in the sink and turned the water on. I went back to the cages and started to scrape the bars, whistling at the birds, changing the paper, etc. Don't know how long I spent doing that but if you are following this story you will know what happened next--I found water on the floor up to my ankles--that's right I had forgotten to turn the water off and my whole place got flooded!!

I spent 3 hours of a beautiful afternoon throwing towels and newspapers on the floor plus mopping up water--buckets of water!!!

I guess now that I am old I am going to have start watching myself and what I do!

And then I did something else that gave me an idea for another blog--coming up next! :O)
