Beard, Shirt, Weather and Birds

As I explained earlier to Rica I have spent
most of my life, until about 5-6 years ago, experimenting with hair on
my face and head--I, jokingly, say that for awhile I would attract those
who liked beards and/or mustaches and then I would cut them off to get
those who like clean shaven
guys--or was I
serious?

The last tine I 'experimented' with my hair
was about 2-3 years ago when I shaved myself bald and let the beard grow
in. Now I get a crew cut every 6 months and shave twice a week--enough
with the hair!{#basic-cool.gif}

I know a lot of people like to think Gays, or
at least me, are flamboyant but as a rule when it comes to clothes I am
fairly conservative. When I came across this shirt in "Out Of The
Closet" I really had to give some thought as to whether I wanted to buy
it or not. Now I have to give some thought as to when I will wear it!

Red and black have always been my favorite
colors and i have always liked dashikis and--a senior moment--Cuban
style shirts not to forget kimono style shirts--the shirt is big and
flowing which in this hot weather is just what should be worn. You know I
will post a picture as soon as I wear it!

The rains really
hit today--between 1  and 2:30 PM we had 4" of rains--the parking lot
became a swimming pool and the streets were flooded--suppose to get more
of same tomorrow--it's the rainy season!

The 'girls' are
complaining that I haven't been posting their pictures lately and you
don't want to live with squawking birds so here are the finches, tiels and Jill's ring-neck. Now
maybe they will keep quiet! :O)

Comments:

tell the "goils" their Auntie Bugg sez they are adorable. It almost rained on our cookout here in Cow Snot but fortunately we'd almost finished our grilling when the cloudburst arrived. Two minutes later, the sun came out of course.
