Appreciation, Quotations, Turning in My Gay Card,

"YOU CAN DO ANYTHING IF YOU HAVE ENTHUSIASM.

ENTHUSIASM IS THE YEAST THAT MAKES YOUR HOPES RISE TO THE STARS.

ENTHUSIASM IS THE
SPARK IN YOUR EYE, THE SWING IN YOUR GAIT, THE GRIP OF YOUR HAND, THE
IRRESISTIBLE SURGE OF YOUR WILL AND ENERGY TO EXECUTE YOUR IDEAS...

ENTHUSIASM IS AT THE BOTTOM OF ALL PROGRESS!"

HENRY FORD, 1863-1947  AMERICAN CAR MANUFACTURER

The
quotation above is from a book called, "The Complete Pocket Positives"
which I received in the mail today along with a few other items. It
seems some people just don't listen as I have been saying all month that
I don't celebrate birthdays in-between Leap Years and yet Maria sent me
a present from Australia. Due to the fact that the postage was
outrageous I decided to keep it and share the quotes with you all by
posting them on my blogs. Now aren't the facts that I am sharing the
book with you (but not the chocolates) and accepting the gift as the
gentleman I am, redeeming?

Does
anyone but me read profiles? Why do so many NOT fill them out? I very
seldom will comment on the blog of someone I know nothing about.

******************************************************

I
love reading about artistic accomplishments such as Hayduke's new play
opening Friday (even if he didn't invite me to the opening! LOL) or
recent bloggers who have had books published.

******************************************************

I
don't understand people who spend 24/7 on the Internet reading and/or
commenting on blogs--unless they are physically or mentally home
bound--they are a sad bunch. It seems no matter what time you come on
they are reading to read/comment. Something else I have noticed is that
those who comment the most are usually very religious.

******************************************************

It
looks like I may have to turn in my gay card. I don't want to get
married, I don't want to have kids and I certainly don't want to, nor
can I, indoctrinate anyone into being gay--all this said, and I don't
think this will surprise you, by a religious, Republican/Tea Party
zealot. This particular blog is so funny because he is so serious and
thinks he is telling the 'truth'.

Looks
like Friday is going to be a fun, long day for me and Allen. We are
leaving for Miami Beach around Noon, will spend some time on and around
Lincoln Road and South Beach, have a bite to eat and then into Miami to
see "Jersey Boys".

******************************************************

Thanks Maria, Gino, Mary, Tim and all those that called me for my unbirthday.
