The nerve of some
people!! I picked Allen up at the airport last night and he had the
gall not only to want to take his car back but, also, taking it
back!!!  LOL  Well at least I had a good two weeks of freedom!!
Allen
picked me up a little after 1 this afternoon and said he wanted to go
to a little bit better place for lunch and that it was his treat--shhh!
Don't tell him I was going to take him for lunch fo letting me use his
car for the two weeks--oh well there is always next time! :O)
We
went to the Sea Watch restaurant, one of the very few built on the
beach side in South Florida. We both had the linguini with shrimp and
scallops in a creme sauce. 30 years ago this was a top notch restaurant
for the food and scenery but the last two times I have been there I
have been disappointed in the food and this makes it the third time. At
least the scenery is still top notch!

On
the way back we decided to stop and look at the new condos called The
Fountains. We looked at a couple of 2 bedroom/2 bath apartments and two
3 bedroom/3.5 baths--we voted for the last one we looked at. It was
only $729,000 and was on the same floor as the pool--the top floor. 
For whatever reasons--maybe we prefer living alone? Or we aren't ready
to move? Or we would fight over who gets the master bedroom and
bath?--we decided not to buy today! LOL

After
that we went to the CVS drugstore where I picked up 8--count them--8
prescriptions and then on to 7/11 where I picked up the winning lotto
and powerball tickets and then on to Office Depot to get a black ink
cartridge and then Allen took me home.
Allen's back to
town and Wednesdays are fun again--I had the car the past two
Wednesdays and ran my errands but it's not the same without Allen!
