Being happy with one's self and being surrounded by a loving family is truly a blessing. I am surrounded by a loving family but I can't say I am really happy with myself. When I look back over my 70 years there are a lot of things I wished I had done differently. As the old saying goes, "hindsight is 20/20".

I think they are the lucky ones. How wonderful that ya'll are together again....Thanksgiving and Christmas should be a blast.
I almost fell out of my chair laughing. How many times have we all gone to Google to find out what mysterious, fatal disease we have? I know doctors hate when patients do that but I can't stop my self. Lucky you to have a doctor with a sense of humor!
Marg, I hope you feel better soon; it's hard to get excited about company coming when you feel so bad. I am very fortunate to have never had the flu. I can't remember the last time I missed work because of illness....knock on wood.
You are so lucky to have a concerned parent and she is lucky to have such an understandng daughter....and he is very lucky to have such a good looking date.

I would have loved to receive that Christmas card. I think it is hilarious. I am very suspicious about individuals who spout religion all the time and act so holier than thou. They are usually trying to hide something. Hope your knee gets better.
Hi Terri, I have read your posts on fb and did not realize you were on MyBloggers also. We have mutual friends on fb....Jon and Hobbes. What a beautiful little boy. I hope he lives close to you so you can shower love and lots of kisses on him. My granddaughter lives in Idaho and I'm in Georgia. I only get to see her once a year.
The way others view you does not matter at all; what is important is how you view youself and your actions. The fact that you are a happy person shows in your face; it's obvious.
