I am not an extremist kitteh. I believe that in some rare instances it may be necessary to do ugly things for the common good, and that that's one of the reasons we have governments. But I believe in calling it what it is. If we have to kill someone away from the battlefield, whether an American or not, we have to do it. However, we shouldn't be doing it in secret. If we have to keep the names secret, we could certainly publish the numbers: "The CIA today received kill orders on 14 suspected terrorists who have not been tried or convicted of anything."
