My weekend was not what I had intended it to be. Friday night after swimming a couple of my friends and I went to dinner. We had a nice visit and went to the local bars for some dancing and gambling. I do love to dance but how they dance today is not for me. I enjoyed watching the younger people, lost $20.00 gambling and was home by 11:30. I attended a baby shower for a former co worker and friend, mowed my lawn, had the oil changed in my van, had my mother call 6 times because she was worried about me and then settled in for a movie night. That didn't happen though. I received a call from a friend from high school. We met at a bar in her town and drank too much. We couldn't drive home so we crashed on a friend's couch. We had a great time. Sunday I spent the day waiting for the satellite provider to come fix my dish. They didn't show up and didn't call. I was so mad. I demanded they give me an exact time they would be here on Monday. Guess what, they had my address listed where the kid's dad is staying and so again I don't have local channels. Over a week now and I am going nuts. I have plenty of movies but no ncaa, no sitcoms, no nothing. Thursday Ihope. I was glad to get the kids back but as usual my daughter has huge melt downs. I think I may get her an appointment with my counselor whether she wants to or not.
