Sunday night we spent the evening at a talent show for my church. We do
this every 5 to 10 years and it is so fun. We had a variety of
talents...music by toilet plungers, cup tapping and passing to a song,
dancing, singing, a didgeroo (amazing) and then my talent. Don't laugh.
I, I mean we balance spoons on our noses. This wonderful talent started
with my Mom. She lived in Minnesota with her 3 siblings and no
television and a lot of snow. So what else would children do to pass
the time away. Balance spoons on their noses of course. Needless to
say, my Mom showed me and now my children. They are very talented if
you ask me. My son can do his nose, ears and chin. So there is yet
another hidden thing you know about me and my family. Please don't quit
talking to me now! Jk. It really is fun and we enjoy it. I also
participated in a bowling skit done to the music from space odessy. It
was very funny and everyone laughed. It was a wonderful evening but it
ran too late. We didn't get home until 8:30 so bed time was later than
I like. Oh well.... it was fun.
