Maurice Our Waiter and More.

This is Maurice from our hotel in Tuscany.
He was our waiter for all the stay there.
Said he:that I reminded of someone from Woodstock?
He asked me have you been there? No
But for some reason he took a liking to me and took really good care of me.
He hugged and embraced many times.
A wonderful man.
Every time I walked in the dining room,he makes a special effort to come over and give me a big hug.
Wow!I liked that and why not.Loved attention.LOL
He had a wonderful family and got to see them briefly.
This guy was in Woodstock whatever year that it was.
How can one not liked this person.
If I needed something,he goes out of his way to get it.
Now the question?whoever this guy was that I reminded of and who he was ever popped up.
He spoke very little English.
Yes,I left him a wonderful tip and why not.
He took care of me and I took care of him.
Very clever that he was and can see why?
Great personality and the women loved him.
Hmmmmmmmmmwhy not.He did very well in getting tips.
Mike took care of this and told the rest of the group what were giving him.
Not only him as they were more waiters just as well being good to us and we took care of them.
Do you not loved this picture.
What kind of caption that you give and looking at this.
Okay,getting away from the feline.
While on my walk and noticed them.
Jonjude and Hobbie should get a kick out of this.
Things are well here and hope the same there.
Have a great weekend and take care.

Bet that guy makes a good living. Sounds as though he really knows how to make his customers feel special. He looks the part of an Italian waiter too...just the way I would picture one.

I love your comment about sign language. I lived in Greece for two years and my husband always said if you tied my hands behind my back I would not be able to talk. I managed to get my point across though.

Not only to get the message across.I looked at this fun and laughter when two are talking or signing to each other. That is fun and they loved it.

I love the one of the cat napping in the flower box. I like this too, but that cat is great! All warm and gold- the cat and the stone.

I think it was great that you were able to connect with someone local. You mentioned that he didn't know English. Are you able to speak a lot of Italian?
I love the picture. He has such a nice, friendly smile. I can see why he might be a good waiter if he is half as friendly as he looks!

he spoke very little English. My Italian is limited. But the sign language is priceless. We did not have any problems in conversing.

Lots of cats in the streets and alleys of Italy. One adopted me long ago in Orvieto. I still have photos of him. Stayed there two days and he never left my side. Even walked through the cathedral right beside me.

got the wrong post. These cats were housed and they stayed there with no roaming.

That is a very striking photograph because there aren't very many colors - pink/ a touch of red/a touch of green/blue and then black and white, and the lighting is perfect, so the man just stands out. A professional photographer could not have composed a better portrait.

You have an eye.I loved it.Remind me something out of Godfather.
