Good afternoon friends.
Well It has been two weeks into Mike retirement.
The irony of all this ,that is working out well.
Then as I look back and said to Mike ever since that you retired the weather has been very dismal with the rain and fog etc.
It has been awhile that the sun was out.
Finally the sun is out today with a windy crisp feeling of Autumn.
Mike has not volunteer to walk the dogs at the SPCA for an afternoon of fun and pleasure.
I am sure that this is his way of grieving as we loss our pet of thirteen years.
We visit the place and saw one that I liked there.
It was a pointer and a very, very sad animal.
You can see that he lost his original owner.
Told Mike I loved to know the story of this one.
Something about him and hope if he is still there to find out when your walking with him.
Yes,I do missed Buffy and no not ready for another.
But you never can tell can we.
We finally slowly cleaning and putting some of his things away.
With most will be donated to the SPCA
Next Wednesday we leave for Santa Fe,NM.
It will be a treat for us to get away and reflex.
Our airline is American Airline.
You heard all about the trouble there with the seats coming unbolted.
So watch out and Legs Up.lOL.
From Alfredo Report and want to leave this one more time in memory of our beloved pet.

Hope the two of you have a great time in Santa Fe! I know losing Buffy hurts. Those who care about you wish they could take the pain away but that is not possible, so we grieve with you.

I am sure that you will have a good time. Santa Fe is a whole other
culture. They don't call New Mexico the land of enchantment for nothing.
The desert casts a spell on one.

I was wondering how Mike would be handling retirement. It was hard for me. Then I pondered the alternative--120 hormone enhanced 12-13 yr olds for 8 hours! Enjoy Santa Fe.

retirement takes a bit of getting used to--holiday for starters is a good idea--then work out how to use the days for benifit

It sounds like you and Mike are settling well into his retirement.
I know that Buffy was loved and is terribly missed. He was one special little guy.

I would never ever use American Airlines. They have shafted me for the last time, and I have used other airlines, mostly foreign or Southwest since the 1990's.
