HOLY CANOLE!
Back to my busy week...Last night I literally felt like I was on a dead run from morning till bed time (which came pretty early I might add)! I had a meeting that ran over after school. Then I had 30 mins. to get home and bring Marissa to dance class. Then I had to gather the boys and head to Rhonda's to have dinner. I barely sat to eat because 1. The boys didn't follow me like they were told and I was worried about them. 2. I was expecting G to call me and say he needed help with the groceries any minute. So I bolted out right after eating and helping put away dinner. I quickly did some laundry and dishes, picked out clothes for tomorrow and sat at the computer for about 3 minutes until I had to go pick up Riss from dance. At this time it was 7:15 (more than 2 hours after G went grocery shopping) and again I was beginning to get worried! I called him and he hadn't even got into the checkout line yet. I love this man to death and he hardly does anything to annoy me....
but...how someone can grocery shop for 3 hours is beyond me! He didn't get home until 8:00 and he got out of work home from work at 5:00. I was annoyed and didn't want a fight, but also desperately needed some quiet "Gwen time". So I took myself some of this "Gwen time" and then eventually G and I talked smoothed everything over. We cuddled up to each other pretty early and soon fell asleep. I actually slept pretty well last night.
Today is so far proving to be just as busy (except I am sneaking in some blog time). I deserve it! :)
Both kids had doctors appointments for their school physicals. Both went well- with the exception of the $80 worth of prescriptions I need to go pick up! Marissa is wheezing and very congested. Her pediatrician was worried it may go into walking pneumonia. Therefore she gave her an inhaler and antibiotic. She also suggested allergy meds for her. Kev has always been my asthmatic, so even though he sounded all clear- we needed a refill on his inhaler as well.
I only have a few more minutes until we head out to Kev's school Book Fair. They're going with their Dad tonight instead of tomorrow, so I'll be bringing them right there after the book fair. I asked A if he'd like to bring Kev to it but he said he wanted me to. He also didn't offer any money up when I told him how much the prescriptions are costing me.
I don't have money I should be spending on neither the book fair nor the prescriptions, but I wouldn't NOT go as long as I could find a way. There are just certain things that I will always do with my kids. My bills can wait another week, but my kids will always feel safe and never worry about Mom not having money for basic needs and small things like a new book at book fair.
Starting next week, A is giving me support again. Only half of what he had been giving me prior to me trying to be Super Woman and not take support from him. This favor of mine only made him turn into Super Asshole and suddenly he didn't want to help out with anything.
I digress.
Kev is staying at my mom's tomorrow night because A is picking his "friend from KY" up from the airport on Fri. morning. This is the chick he met a week after he and I separated. The one that he returned from the trip with condoms, that were only a joke of course! (That's me being sarcastic, because no matter what he says ...my logic won't let me believe him).
G's son is taking hip hop dance class now on Thursday nights so we will have b-day dinner at my Mom's after his class. He likes it and he's really good. It will be really neat having both he and Riss in the shows together.
And before I leave, a prayer request please. They've found another lump in my grandmother's finger. Previously the last lump was cancer. If this is cancer as well, they will have to remove her finger. She's very upset and it's also delaying her trip with Pop to Florida.

A picture from our Sunday picnic!
