I am on cloud nine with a smile on my face that I couldn't erase if I wanted to. I'm not scared. I'm not over-thinking. I'm just enjoying every minute of it.

I know what the wise men say "Only fools rush in..." But I also now finally know the meaning of the next line "I can't help, falling in love, with you."

I hope this doesn't sound too awful but I have loved very deeply in my life and just like I've said before I still love my ex in a way that I always will love someone who has been such a big part of my life for so long. But I really think that this may just be the first time in my 34 years that I've fallen in love!

When we're together the world disappears and time stops.
Just sitting next to him puts me totally at ease.
We talk for hours and there is never an awkward pause.
It feels as though our souls have known each other forever.
When he holds my hand, he also touches my heart.
My heart heals and swells until I feel I will burst.
When he kisses my hand, my heart flutters.
Butterflies fly through my stomach and my heart races.
When our lips touch, I never want them to part.
They fit mine so perfectly and make me warm with passion.
I get lost in his eyes but I'm never afraid.
When he holds me in his arms, I feel so safe and loved.

My insecurities melt away.


I sure hope this is what love feels like.
I never want to lose this feeling.
