Listen to what your body tells you. If you need to rest then do it. You will leave yourself open to germs and 'flu if you let yourself become 'rundown'. I have taken note of what Elderjane said about vitamin C - a good idea I think

Extreme temperatures! It was the same record breaking temperatures as we had - I know Scotland had some deep freeze numbers - not too sure if they were -28, but not far from it.
The animals suffer the most, without a doubt unfortunately

It is a shame you have to postpone your anniversary celebration, but it is important for you to do the arthritis course. I hope you will eventually get further enlightenment on this horrible, painful condition

I know we used, to get Judge Judy, but I have to admit, never got round to watching it. I have never seen The Peoples Court advertized though. I am like you, I will listen to the radio as opposed to watching tv in the afternoon. TV companies are bound, to use actors & actresses in their shows (makes more sense).

My mum used to make little cloth pillows and fill them with lavender, tie them and hang them in the wardrobes and drawers - you brought back some long forgotten memories

I am so sorry it turned out that way It's rotten, if you have been looking forward to an evening out. I did think to myself, that it might have been a 'hypnotist' who was going to be your 'mystery' treat - I didn't mention it previously, as I didn't want to make you 'nervous'. Hopefully, other people will have had the same disappointing evening and the organizers may improve, next years evening out.
