as i was doing my prep work wednesday night and Dakota was helping me, I said to him, how in the world did meemaw do this for our huge family! We had 6 kids in our family and as we grew up and married the table became bigger and bigger. old traditions are the best!

well i have no horror stories of giving birth. mine was relatively fast. 6 hours total from when the labor pains first started! discuss with your doc about pain meds. I waited too long and didn't get any! and it's been happening for thousands of year, you'll be fine! any names picked out yet? do you want to know ahead of time if its a boy or girl?

great advice! I am going to be buying some battery operated lanterns, just in case. they say we could have a very snowy winter here. I am hoping that is true as I love the snow, plus I now have 4 wheel drive and I am itching to put it to use!

our biggest problem is mice! and with a two year old in the house and also a kitten, I can't put out poison or traps. so I have moved all of the pantry items into plastic tubs with lids. I really hate mice.

I hope one day you can return to your art. I admire people who can paint and draw. Dakota sometimes draws me pictures and I love them! I have a couple on the walls of my cubicle at work. i wish you could post some pics of your artwork!
