Finding Excuses

I'm sitting here at work, trying to find excuses not to file.Â Â You all know how much I love to do it.....*snorts*
I'm fairly caught up on everything thing else...got my end of the month reports already done....calendars put out...my paperwork is done, files are ready for tomorrow for the testers coming in......myÂ weekly quote is on the bulletin board.Â I'm working till 6:00 tonight...so I've got some time to kill.Â Â Â If I really wanted to be productive I'd do my filing....but I don't want to be productive...*laughs*Â Â
We are having computer issues again.Â Â Came in Monday morning and my computer had just died.Â Â Wouldn't even let me turn it on....it was gone.Â Â Computer guys came and switched out computers so I was back up and running pretty quick...but it wasn't the best way to start a Monday.Â Â Tech guys think it's the wiring in the building, and called the Electric Co.Â who came out and put a tester of some sort on the power box....not sure if they found out anything yet.
My weekend was pretty quiet, we did go out and eat at Shoney's with some friends Friday night.Â Â That was nice...Friday night's Shoney's has a seafood & ribs bar.Â Â Â The ribs were wonderful, the seafood wasn't that hot...but the company was nice.Â Â
There have been so really "twisted" folks in here lately.Â Â It's so twisted and sick I can't even go into it.Â Â Â Â Â I think we all will sleep better at night not thinking about this one...
My cousin Lynn is at it again....got a call from her Tuesday night....she is a walking disaster area I'm telling you.Â Â She backed her car into a light pole.....the pole is fine...however her car isn't.Â Â Â I can't say awhole lot tho...I've done the same thing...*laughs*Â

Filing...why is it that I seldom (if ever, nowadays) have to go into the travel agency office but, when I do go and I'm going to be working there, there always seems to be filing for me to do. The others that work there hate it so much that they put off doing it as much as possible. There's only one worker there who will succumb to the task at hand (because the piles of papers and files get sky high) and will do some filing as time allows. The poor thing can never catch up, so there's always filing waiting for me to deal with. They'll take advantage of any times I will be working there by actually saving filing so I will have "something to do". Ugggghhhhh!!!!!!

I loved the â€œofficeâ€ work of past jobs, truthfully I think itâ€™s more been the closeness to â€œoffice suppliesâ€ that I like.

I used to love it when Friday meant somethingâ€¦blech can you tell Iâ€™m working this weekendâ€¦
