I think I am probably an extrovert because I am happiest
when I have people around me to share thoughts and
feelings with. My daughter is an introvert and my son
is an extrovert.
I hosted my investment club meeting on the 20th and a
family reunion on the 24th, a day with Sara, Chandler
and Linda on the 25th and now I am feeling very deflated
and let down.
There are plenty of errands and laundry awaiting me and
I can always go see my friend Phyllis if she is not out
selling houses. She is a fantastic Realtor and will
probably never retire. She is also an optimist, fun and
a genuinely good person.
The constant rain has not done anything to lift our
spirits. I have had friends whose homes have filled
with water up to the counter tops in the kitchen.
Fortunately, we live on a hill.
Adrienne is taking swimming tests to qualify as a life
guard at the Y. I hope she gets the job, it will be nice
for summer and for after school.
The twins who mow my lawn have made enough money to
finance an in ground pool in their back yard. They
are only thirteen but I am predicting that they will
be millionaires by the time they are thirty. They went
around the neighborhood offering excellent lawn services
for much less than other people and have built up an
excellent client base. They have good equipment and invest in more all of the time. I am proud of them
and so are their parents.
