We have had two days of slow soaking rain. We really
needed it and I am looking forward to working in the garden.
Lane has just about finished with Bobby's house and hopefully can start on mine next week.

Adriene's birthday dinner went well. I baked a ham and
fixed caulflower with cheese sauce, Hash brown casserole,
Pea salad, spinich salad and a cherry and an apple pie. The apple pie did not turn out well and I don't know why.
The apples were Granny Smith and they cooked down too much.
I sent most of the left overs home with them.

The housing market is down here. The house across the street has not sold and it is 2600 square feet and has new carpet and fresh paint. It has been nearly a year and he has reduced the price to l30. It has a double garage and
a covered patio. They have built a new gated addition
about half a block from me but Phillis says the rooms are
very small.

I have two rose bushes to plant today. Think of me outside
digging in the dirt.
