Politics

I have never seen a political party act like the Republicans
have. They are so intent on destroying Obama's Presidency
that they have gone stark raving mad. John McCain keeps
saying idiotic things and the shrill Sara Palin has made fourteen million dollars since she resigned as Govenor of
Alaska from her book and speaking engagements.

George Bush left us with an economy that was ready to fail,
a stupid and needless war on two fronts. This is what our

President had to face and try to solve. He did what no
President has been able to do. The universal health care
has been passed and the economy is slowly recovering.

President Obama is probably the most compassionate President
that we have ever had. He has experienced poverty and knows what it is like to have your back against the wall and to have to use food stamps. He realizes that the jobless need an extension on their unemployment benefits.

Some of his detractors are fueled by racism. I grew up
in a home where the N word was used a lot. My grandfather
on my mother's side was so rabid and vocal that he had a
fit when the first African American actress had her own
television show. I had my ephiney when I enrolled in a
Philosophy course which was taught by a brilliant Scholar
who just happened to be an African American.

The lies that are being circulated enrages me. Obama has been called the anti Christ, a socialist, and another
Hitler. What ever happened to fairness and truth and why is it being replaced by obstruction and lies? Wake up and smell the coffee all of you hate mongers out there.
