We have not done anything interesting all week. We have concentrated on the yard and Ted is making a circle of pavers around the sweetgum tree. We are going to fill it
with good dirt and plant vinca in it. Fortunately the back
yard is done. We had such a wet winter that all the tulips and jonquils came up as well as some roses that must be
root stock and will only bloom one time.
I planted a crepe myrtle in the front yard and thought it was dead but it is putting on new leaves. I love it that they bloom profusely all through August when everything else
has given up the ghost.
As far as the family is concerned, Sara has a kidney stone
and very little insurance and Adrienne lettered in band. We
will help with the cat scan and the band jacket. Sara is a
size zero and hardly eats. She was drinking three Dr. Peppers a day and no water. The young take their health for
granted.
