Tornados are firing up all over the state. It looks as if they will miss us again tonight. The weather has interfered
with us and done a lot worse to towns around us. If there is a God, he must hate institutions of higher learning. There was one at Stillwater, home of O.S. U. and one headed
for the Norman campus of O. U. at this moment. This has
been one wretched week.

We bought a generator today because we will need lights and
a fan if we have a power out. I have a gas cook top and oven so we are pretty much prepared for everything but the very worst.

Lane painted all day on the porch so he wasn't hampered by
the rain and it really is beginning to look nice although this is only primer. The paint is the last step.

I had a whole house surge protector put on and the wicked
security light that shines in our eyes all night taken off.

On another note, I have a tiny green tomato and my squash
plants are up.
