I have just finished painting my utility room an upbeat
yellow...not egg yolk but more like a downy new chick. It
has been kind of hard but it didn't take but a few hours and
it is a welcome burst of color in this all white house. I have always wanted a yellow bedroom because it is the color
of sunshine.
The house painting progresses at a snails pace but just the primer looks great. Ted has been outside all day cleaning
up from the giant hail storm. We missed major damage but it
certainly played havoc with the leaves.
One of my favorite grand daughters will be here to spend the
night on Thursday. She is on her way to Denton, Texas to judge a band concert. We are all anxious to see her.
Adrienne lettered in band and won a math award, a science
award, a German award and an outstanding band student award.
She will also intern at the science museum this summer. It
is so fun to watch her. She is five six and towers over me
and she is poised and mature for twelve. I guess you can
forgive me for bragging since I love her to pieces.
