The god of appliances and the god of automobiles have ganged up on us. Ted has worked on my twenty five year old dryer all day...apparently it is not going to be allowed to die, and has announced success.
Miss Kitty, well on her way to becoming a classic car, demanded a new internal computer, which cost 850.00 and then on the way home announced that she was low on refrigerant and turned the air conditioner off. You can't survive in Oklahoma without an air conditioner so it is back to the shop for her.
I topped the day off by reading Annie Proulx's short stories where everyone is down and out and after being miserable for a long time ends up dead. No more Annie P. for me. Tomorrow is always better because it is different.
