We have a layer of ice and on top of that about 2 inches of sleet. I thought that I would make a list of good things about this kind of weather to keep my mind off the bad things.

l. It is great for reading.
2. It is a good day for making potato soup with a little
onion and lots of cheddar cheese. I make it with milk
and didn't know some people made it with water until
recently.
3. The birds really enjoy their sunflower seeds.
4. You appreciate telephone calls because it is hard to do
anything and you don't mind the interruption.
5. It is good for having happy hour with your husband.
6. Hot coffee, hot tea, hot anything is wonderful.
7. The dogs love to play in the deep sleet.
8. My kids aren't working today and I get to talk to them
a lot.

That is all the Pollyanna stuff I can think of. Except, the power is not out.....yet. Alfredo, you are laughing because you are so much more adept at dealing with snow. Oklahomans just can't drive in it and so all the schools and stuff are closed. Even Tinker Air Force Base is closed except for vital operations. Jeri
