I am out of the deep slough of depression and I am thinking
that although the situation has not changed, I am handling
it better. I may have been somewhat dehydrated and too
careless about my diet. A hearty dose of Mexican food did
wonders and left me so thirsty that I must have had a quart
of ice water this afternoon. I have shed l5 lbs as of this
morning and it has been pretty rapid. This was a once in a
blue moon affair and it is back to omelets tomorrow morning.
I am working on a large wooden horse. I don't know who
carved him but I expect it was Mexican in origin. We bought
him and he was full of insect life so Ted had to take him
apart and put him back together after spraying him. He is
about as tall as I am and standing on his back legs. I am
painting him, as a Palameno and he is wearing a lot of
turquoise and has a blue saddle blanket and a gold saddle
which I intend to gold leaf when I get around to it. My
sil who is an artist loves him which encourages me.
Adrienne leaves on a band trip to Orlando Thursday night
right after school. They will drive all night and I am
sure the bus driver will be maddened by the time they arrive
in Florida. Dakota and Maddison didn't get to go because
it was just too expensive but Adrienne is over the moon
anyway.
