Sometimes you get rewarded with a movie that you can really enjoy. This was an older one, Mrs Brown, starring Judi Dench as Queen Victoria after the death of Albert. The subject was her friendship with John Brown until he died. The acting was superb.
No doubt it was scandalous at the time. There was a lot of witty dialog in the movie and it was so well done. You just felt that there was more than friendship between the queen and John Brown.
There was a lot of footage of the lochs in Scotland when she was at Balmoral. It made me feel cold just to look at it. This was my kind of movie because I like English history but Ted liked it a lot too.
