l. When you are out of laundry detergent even though you have been to the grocery store every single day. 2. When you can't get an appointment to have the dog groomed and he is hot and panting all the time. 3. When it is 4 days until Christmas Eve and you don't have the presents wrapped. 4. It will all work out if family is able to recover and come. We are invited out for Christmas dinner but think we won't go since we will want to rest up from Christmas eve and maybe try a movie.

I am hanging on by a thread. Monday, I smoke the turkey and bake the ham. Everyone should be here Tuesday but half of them are sick. Yesterday, I took the day off, did not get out of my robe and read all day. Now, I am ready to get with the program. By the way, Laura tried a new method for turkey, slathering it with mayo and injecting some under the skin, then letting it sit in the fridge for a couple of days. she said it was delicious. You might try it at Ed's second holiday meal.
