June came to see us for a long weekend and I think that I have worn her completely out. She went to sleep watching the movie and is still out like a light. We shopped and shopped and shopped some more.
She is an R. N. that used to head up a nursing program and it certainly came in handy last night. My dear friend of 55 years called to say "Goodbye" the long goodbye. She has heart trouble and her blood pressure was 214. I got her to
come over and June took her blood pressure and reassured her that her pulse was very strong and steady. Then Rex
cuddled up to her and I got her some iced tea and we watched a movie together. Her anxiety level decreased and so did her blood pressure. She said it did her more good
than medicine. I think she is alone too much and needs a
pet.
I will catch up with everyone soon. I may have to take June home Monday. She lives near Muskogee. In the meantime, be well.
