Most of you know that my life has changed a lot with our recent move. The wonderful thing is that we are both a lot happier. We really enjoyed being out in the country but we were very isolated. Now, we are close to my son and his family and to old friends.

I joined a little group that researches antiques and it has given me new friends with similar interests. I will miss the wood people and their archaic English and sentence structure but I realize now that we had very few friends.

Adrienne really needs us because she is going through that teen thing of rebelling against her parents and she can ride her bike over and be soothed and loved. She is only eleven but girls grow up very quickly now. When I pick her up from school I see the eighth grade girls strutting their stuff and believe me they are very sexy looking. Their bodies have outstripped their minds and emotions.

Ted has one more project and then we are done. He is stripping the carpet out of the master bath and we ordered travertine in the big tiles for it. They came in yesterday and he will start on it today. We are really pleased with the way they are going to look and it should go pretty fast with the large tiles.
