I just finished The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth
Stein. The narrator is an old dog who tells about his life with a family and can't wait to be reincarnated as a man.
It is his desire to have thumbs and a tongue made for talking that fuels his desire. It isn't so sad that it
makes you cry and I really enjoyed it.
Right now, I am reading Until I find You by John Irving. I
have just now come to the part that is really funny. It started slowly.
We got It's Complicated from netflix and we both thought it
was funny and good. We watched a re-make of Stage Coach with Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristoferson, Johnny Cash, June Carter Cash and Elizabeth Ashley. We liked it but Willie Nelson was not a good Doc Holiday. He only coughed twice in the whole movie and was not dapper enough for the part.
Every morning I have to water. It is getting so hot but
I can sure stand heat better than cold. I have to remember
to put on my sneakers with the orthotics in them because if
I walk around barefoot all day it makes my feet hurt.
See you later, Jeri.
