I keep a yearly day book and sometimes I review them for interesting things I might have written down. I unearthed
the one from 2000 and found two recipes. One was for Choux
Paste,(the pastry for eclairs) and the other was for a Verdigres finish. Since most cookbooks have the Choux paste in them, I will share the Verdigres finish with you.
It is great on metal objects that you want to transform.
2 parts turquoise oil paint
l part linseed oil
l part mineral spirits
apply and wipe off until you get the finish you desire. I
have done this and it does make a nice finish.
I was looking for the name of an insurance agent but didn't find it but the search was rewarding any way. I will make
chocolate eclairs tonight and fill them with ice cream instead of vanilla pudding.
