Where is Every Body?
I used to see Jeremy out running quite often but he has not been around in ages. Hope he and his children and wife have not been ill.
Very few of us still post on this site and I miss you all. I won't lie and say I enjoy old age because I loathe it. I miss the independence that I relished and I hate the aches and pains that haunt us when we get older. I used to walk 2 miles every day and now I do well to walk Jose 5 blocks.
Nadine, the black cat has chosen us and she and Jose appear to get along ok even though they avoid each other as much as possible.
Our relatives who are also treasured friends, and our pets make
life interesting. My sister and my daughter are my support system.
We had a good social life in the neighborhood until the pandemic.
Who knew what havoc it would wreak and now Russia is rumbling and about to erupt with even more bad news coming every day. My Russian DIL says that their involvement in Afghanistan wiped out a whole generation of Russian men. These despots never seem to realize the cost of war is too great to be worth while. I am praying for peace even though there may be no one listening. It can't hurt.
The first day of spring is nearly here and we had 3 inches of snow yesterday. What a topsy turvey world we live in!!

I know I’m starting to feel my age more and more as I approach 50….
50.
Sorry I’m not on here much! I just started working again for a local non profit that provides rides and food to the elderly and disabled. It’s pretty rewarding!
Stay well my friend
