I don't think anyone is happy with the choices we have this time around. And being from Illinois I know you probably have better insight into Obama than the rest of us. Whereabouts on here has warned me several times "don't be fooled by Obama, he's no different than the rest" but to me, with the only other options being Clinton (no thank you...) or McSame, I don't feel I have many options. Not voting don't work for me, I feel I have to at least participate in some way. And of course, with the system set up as it is, the electoral college wouldn't allow an independent such as Nader or any else to win...

Cheveron got I think over 5 billion last quarter in profits, while charging us around 3.50 for gas (simplified average).
