Anybody else suddenly feeling the wish to devote himself to volunteering, driving old people to the doctor, trying to set up funding for students to learn environmental engineering and studies on alternative energy sources, sending books to people in prison, and all sorts of junk like that?

I don't remember John Kennedy, but I imagine there were similar urges to rush and join the Peace Corps back then. I want Obama to have an easier time of this than I imagine he actually will, and want to help.
