The first tropical storm of the season- TS Andrea- pounded us all night with rain, waterspouts and tornadoes. Rain during the night is an uncommon phenomenon in Florida. We tend to get our rain during the day. Right now, there is a lull in the storm, but the weatherman says based on where I live, I can expect the bands of rain and winds up to 60 mph to pass over again in thirty min., and tornado warnings are interrupting regular programming on every local station. I gotta smile. The weather folks are so darn animated talking about this storm that one almost suspects that they are disaster junkies hoping things get worse.
I'm up. I have an article to write and some long overdue reports to get done. Yuck! Exciting! Might be more fun to listen to the weather reports.
