I rarely see myself in pictures and since I quit smoking and put on weight, I don't like how I look. Then, watching TV one night, I saw Sylvester Stallone on a talk show. Whoa! Boy, he got old. That made me look up other stars to see what they looked like today. We all got old! There is nothing wrong with how I look, I'm just getting older. Most of the stars above are in their sixties- or at least they are the 'stars' of my generation. Of course, the face in the center is not a movie star at all- it's just me comparing myself to them.
BTW: Finding a picture of Bette Midler that was not air brushed was a real challenge! There are pictures of her at the beach with little/no make-up so I know what she really looks like. I found one (above) where she is wearing make-up, but the image is not deliberately air brushed or Photoshopped to death. Better.

The shit with my son keeps getting deeper. I have not talked to my grandsons since Easter. I call, but all I get is excuses. It is depressing. I made it a point not to whine about it in my last few posts. Not really whining now- just an update. I never mention my son on FB. I should not here either, but my family and neighbors are not on this site.
