Monday I took advantage of the absence of traffic and went downtown to shoot some photos of the Tampa skyline.I could not do it while the RNC was going on because nearly the entire downtown area was shut off. Between barricades, ten-foot high fences, road closures and security forces (police, National Guard, etc., Tampa was completely inaccessible. Most of the businesses shut down for the week.

This is two views of the Convention Center and one of the new lights under the bridges. The colors under the bridges rotate- blue, red, purple, green and gold. I only stayed until dusk not dark- just until the lights came on.

I am suddenly so thin-skinned. It seems like everything breaks my skin or bruises me these days.
