I was not able to use my pc for the last few days and it just about drove me crazy. The good news is, I had lots of time to paint. I will likely make a few more minor changes... I always do! I am considering painting the bridge's shadow over the roadway and maybe putting some empty bottles and cans under/ near the bush. The shadow thing is difficult to figure out- exactly where would it fall? I also think the distant trees should be darker?
I wanted to show the chaos of their lives in juxtaposition to wealth and security, i.e., the brightness of the city.
P.S.: If the graffiti is distracting: it is supposed to be! I find graffiti distracting in real life.
