This will be my last post for at least a week. PD and I will be headed back to Idaho for Christmas and to celebrate my Grandma's life. We are leaving tomorrow morning and heading back Monday morning. Our normal route we take is closed in different places due to snow accumulation. ODOT(aka Oregon Department of Transportation)isn't plowing because of overtime. That and the fact that there are blizzard-like conditions in the Columbia Gorge that have kept it closed between Troutdale and Hood River. We are taking an alternate route that goes through central Oregon(sorry Annie we aren't going as far south as you. Just through Bend, Sisters, and Burns.) I haven't traveled that way in years but at least Santiam Pass is still open.
