Yes it only took thirty years to arrest him. Roman Polanski was arrested in Switzerland. As many of you know, Roman Polanski plead guilty to unlawful sex with a (at the time) 13-year-old girl. Instead of doing the time, he fled to France to live in exile. To me that is wrong. He is a brilliant director but needs to be punished. I know the girl is now in her 40s but when he had sex with her, she was still a kid. I'm one of those people that believe that execution should be extended to those that have sex with children. There's no cure for pedophilia. If you don't believe in the death penalty, send all sex offenders to an island out in the middle of nowhere with no way to come back to the U.S. There's no way they could come back and hurt anyone ever again. Especially pedophiles. Those sick bastards need to be executed. A kid doesn't need to experience anything that hurtful. You should love a child. Give them a hug whenever necessary. Give them a pat on the back when they've done something good(or some other kind of reward.) When they've done bad, they do need some sort of punishment(I do believe in a swat on the butt...open handed. Never a closed fist.) Never abuse a child. I know I've kind of strayed a little but I think that the charges against Polanski shouldn't be dropped. He committed a crime and what I understand sex crimes don't have a statute of limitations.
