Yikes! Is it really jobs? Gee, I've done/had maybe 18 in my life and I'm even counting the part time and temporary ones.

Oh, ok, there's a couple of them that I can vouch for because they fit me (almost) to a T.

That staircase problem doesn't sound good...gee, don't servers work hard enough? The one thing you are right about is the quality of the food when it is served. Ok, sometimes a tougher or gamier piece of meat can happen, but if something isn't prepared correctly or according to what's been ordered and is expected, then that's a different story. And, as you say, in a place of this caliber, that is a real disappointment and is practically inexcusable. Service and quality of prep should be of the same high caliber.

You truly are a fan...an addicted fan...and there's nothing wrong with that! I probably will not have a chance to see this in NYC, but I've still got my fingers crossed for seeing it when it comes to Providence.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with trying to save a few bucks and/or taking advantage of a deal, as long as the savings and deals are legitimate (not always complaining so as to get out of paying for the food) and nobody gets short-changed (the waitstaff still deserves the full tip). I probably wouldn't be able to eat out at all if it wasn't for coupons and deals, but I always leave a tip based on what the total bill would have been without the savings...the work wasn't "discounted" or lessened in any way, so the workers deserve the full amount.

I know how I felt about it back in the 70's. There was the kind of sex that was ok to do if you were going to do it, and then there was the REAL sex that some did but most did not and would not because it was risky and too serious...it was the "next step" that a person would go to. One was fun and daring, naughty and dirty, and some did it and some didn't...it might be part of a serious relationship but it didn't have to be. Where the other was for serious relationships, when a couple was a real "item"... either you were very sure of the relationship or you were a real floozy, slutty person. Most of this was based on peer pressure and how all was perceived as a result of the sort of education/knowledge we had about sex. So, oral was sex in a way, but only intercourse was "real" sex.

Ah, yes, rain...not so good when the window is open and everything gets wet. I used to have a car with a window (the front passenger one) that automatically opened all the way whenever there was a soaking rain. I could use the button to raise it up, but unless I continued to hold the button, it would slide right back down. Fortunately, I had a window lock, but if I didn't lock it quick enough (before it started opening), the window would go down anyway.

I'm a wishin' and prayin' that all goes well throughout the entire process of doctors, surgeries, treatments, facilities, care, and you getting well and being back as your ol' self again.

I didn't know what any of the music was in this movie. Now this has made it more exciting. I really do want to see the movie, anyway, but now I can say I want to see it because I like some of the music, too!

Olivia De Havilland...a name that just rolls off the tongue and sounds as beautiful as she was and is. She looked good on camera, she just always did. And she played her roles like she really fit the parts, because she did. I always liked her.

We all know how expensive advertising is and can only imagine what a campaign has to cost, but $800 million is absurd...and an insult to us who are struggling to make ends meet. We should do like some other countries do...allow an equal amount of campaign money for each candidate, each must spend only up to the amount that's equally allowed for the other. This keeps the cost from getting so ridiculous and gives each candidate an "even playing field". Maybe the person who wins won't be the person who just happened to have more money to spend...and maybe the best person won't have to drop out because of lesser funds.

You always amaze me with how organized you are. That's way too much for me, but I wish I could be somewhere inbetween what I'm like and you're like. Martin, I understand about the visits and phone calls...a lot also depends on why a person is in the hospital or going through rehab. Company is not always a comfortable thing, not for the patient or for the visitor, so a little consideration and understanding should be exercised before barging in or making a call. My thoughts will be with you all the time, though, and you can't stop me from doing that!

Martin, you have been more than honest and we, your friends, know that we can disagree with you when we do...however, no such disagreements lead to name-calling or offensive language. It's too bad that some people just don't know how to be decent human beings or to communicate like one. A difference of opinion to them makes them feel superior to the inferiors who think differently, so it gives them the excuse to berate, insult, bully, and abuse. They are the equivilents to wife-beaters, schoolyard bullies, and hate group supporters.

I think it's wonderful. Sure, it's strange, but if he was biologically able...because he was BORN that way...and he was willing...because we all have rights to have children...then what he did is not so strange when you think of it that way. Just as we are born the way we are...that's what makes us weird or strange to others, so are others born to be different. I think it took courage, a lot of natural instinct and desire, love, and the exercising of the right to bear a child. I think it's sweet and personal decision between him and his wife.
