I keep saying that you just need to keep reminding yourself, "This will look so great after it's finished"! You're really getting a lot done, you know, I'll bet it's going to be fantastic!
I told you when I first saw this just how beautiful it was! Dainty and simple, yet beautifully elegant at the same time. You can see that it's comfy (not binding in any way) and easy to "manipulate" on a such tiny babies. I knew it was a winner and now it's been proven! Congratulations! You and your pattern deserve it! Excellent!
Congratulations, Kelli! I know it takes a lot of time and effort to memorize things, so I think you deserve a big congratulations! It sounds like this job is really coming along for you and that's wonderful. Oh, and you don't have to explain about enjoying a day off because there is such a thing as enjoying days on and days off equally.
I couldn't help but think that, because this is already well past when you wrote this, that you've managed to move on a little from this by now. HOw comforting, though, to know that you have your sis to talk to...and wasn't it wonderful that your grandmother called to apologize and talk at this particular moment in time? Not the day before or a week after, but when it would be nice to have another sign that you are loved and everything is really ok. Even with such an emotional thing as what had happened, it's plain to see that you really have come a long way. You don't want to go backwards...you don't want it to stop...just keep right on going, my friend!
Filing...why is it that I seldom (if ever, nowadays) have to go into the travel agency office but, when I do go and I'm going to be working there, there always seems to be filing for me to do. The others that work there hate it so much that they put off doing it as much as possible. There's only one worker there who will succumb to the task at hand (because the piles of papers and files get sky high) and will do some filing as time allows. The poor thing can never catch up, so there's always filing waiting for me to deal with. They'll take advantage of any times I will be working there by actually saving filing so I will have "something to do". Ugggghhhhh!!!!!!
She really should be better off there, which is safer for her. And, it's good for you, too, knowing that she is in a facility that will keep an eye on her instead of you having to worry about her and having to run over to her place for all problems she has.
I'm so happy for you! Enjoying one's work helps to keep it from seeming like a job, but more like a productive way to keep busy, earn an income, and interract with others. I wish you continued success and enjoyment there.
A new toilet sounds like the right choice to me!
Very nice, but I understand why you'd be afraid. I don't think you should continue to feel that you should avoid it...maybe going, enjoying it, and arriving back home safely will ease your fears about the place.
Just the sort of problems you really don't need. Sorry to hear about all the trouble you're having this year.
I do know that you tend to rate higher in the credit scores more often if you have some kind of a loan going on, if payments are being paid on time. That's why so many people who have paid off their houses will take out a second mortgage or a loan, why some people will trade-in for a new car and finance at least part of the cost of the new one, just to prove that they have credit and they can still maintain good credit. Paying something off does not show the ability to have credit, it just shows you can purchase something, especially if paid upfront (not financed) or paid off earlier than the designated pay-off date. It's also helped some people's credit to take out a new credit card, but to already have something on it so they can make payments, they use the new card to pay off an old one. The amount of the old one appears on the new card's bill, so payments need to be paid on that, thus continuing the proof of credit and the level (good or bad) of credit.
I think you did the right thing, good for you! As I stated in my comment on your last post, I really should go for a mammogram. It's been so long that I haven't even given it any thought until I read your posts. Now you've got me thinking about it. (I really don't envy you making an appointment for the dentist...I'd rather have a dozen mammograms than a visit to the dentist!)
Gee, I really should get this done, too...it's been at least 10 yrs since my last mammogram. What am I thinking?
I really do like the looks of that candy! But, ok, I didn't deserve the prize, so it's ok that it is now gone.
