I'm probably too late because, ohhhhhhh, look at the date! But, I haven't read anything newer from you so I haven't seen the answer...so, before I DO see the answer, I'd like to take a guess...just to see how I do, ok? I say SHOPLIFT.
That's too funny! Oh, I know it wasn't funny at the time...very far from it! But, knowing your kitty is ok now and full of those treats, I guess it's ok to look back and laugh at the kind of things they can get into to cause more grey hairs and anxiety. Glad to hear she's ok.
Yeah, well, I can see why there are some who can get very excited by this guy in the brief little red thing.
There are definitely times that I want to do more than curl up with a book, but rather curl up IN a book so Michener is a great example of the types of books I can do this with. To become absorbed in a long epic tale, to absorb a whole world or lifetime of a large slice of traveling or experiencing history, something that will transform me into another place for a long-haul escape with information worth visiting, revisiting, learning, pondering, and enjoying.
Just letting you know, I made some biscuits again today. Drizzled a little honey on them and, oh, they were wonderful! Thanks again!
Some side effects are still better than what is really ailin' ya, so they must be weighed carefully when considering whether to stop taking certain medications. Also, not all side effects necessarily materialize... manufacturers of EVERYTHING nowadays must list everything and anything possible, just to be on the safe side so, although some side effects may be more common and likely, a lot of them are quite rare. If you do have side effects, you just run them by the doctor or pharmacist because there are often other alternatives to the particular "brand" you are taking. Your title made me laugh, though, because it's awful funny (in a ha ha way and also not at all funny way) when you think that medicine, which is supposed to be helpful, can often be the cause of sickness, aches, pains, and all sorts of medical problems. I suppose the argument is...Side effects may kill you, but not taking the medicine may kill you, too.
Looks like a great area for exploring...I would love it! And, yes, Molly's Reach...I'd be right in line for going there. I'm enjoying your trip so far!
Looks like an interesting trip so far. I read that whole sign you have posted there and I know I wouldn't mind seeing the area for myself. I love ferry rides, so...yep, it sounds good to me!
Venting is good...letting it out is healthy. Now, let it go, take a fresh breath, hang on to the lesson you have learned, and go forward it. Good luck with all your endeavors, job-wise and in all things.
How was the concert? I haven't been to a concert in ages, so it sounded so good to hear that you were going to one. I hope it was good and fun because you deserve some good and fun.
Yeah, I got that one...i just deleted it. Done. Then it was back to blogging and reading as usual and I haven't gotten any more since, so that's a good thing.
It makes perfect sense to me!
I love those kind of toys and wish I had them. I'll bet you'll enjoy the HDTV for a lot of things, as well as that DVR. Very nice that you got it for no extra charge...such a deal!
Oops, and I can tell that it wasn't an oops that you did, but from the evil forces that lie within the mysterious blogging world. I hope those demons had their laughs and will now move on so that you can get on with your posting...because I really want to read the rest of your story.
I've mellowed right out...such smoothness and soul in that voice. I loved Ray Charles and still love his music..it's timeless. This is definitely one of his best and sweetest, but, then again, it would be difficult to find anything by him that isn't considered to be just fine.
