Well, we're all moved! The place is a bit of a disaster yet though, I have quite a bit of items in the garage that need to be placed somewhere...where, we're not sure yet! Really didn't think my son & I had so much stuff until we got here. Didn't think the hubby did either. :)
The landlord had to "deal" with me not confirming with him until 4 days before my last day at the apartment. At that time as well, I informed him that there was mold once more in my son's closet (I hadn't known it & boy was I sickened!!) & that there was NEW mold on a wall that they'd repaired as well as in a closet that they repaired. No freaking wonder we never could breathe & felt crappy!! I still regret a lot of things & that apartment is one of them. Oh well. Water under the bridge now. :)
I quit my job yesterday. I'm a bit conflicted about it, but overall, I feel a sense of relief from having to deal with the constant weight of wanting to not have to work overtime and the politics in general. Honestly, it's a good place to work for little pay if you can swing it financially & if you have no family wants or needs. It was good for me in general as a single parent but only to a point. If I'd been single & no children & could manage with the pay, I think it would've been something I'd done as long as I was able to work.
Internet time is a lot different now for me too. So I'm unsure how often I'll be able to drop by, but I sure will do my best to. :)
Y'all have a good one...I'm looking for Friday already!
