Yes, I'm doing just fine, just busy so I'm not posting.
I'm going to 3 (and maybe 4) exercise classes a week, running 3 or 4 times a week for 30-60 minutes each time, working 19 hours/week, very slowly harvesting and preserving the garden, getting projects done around the house that I've been putting off for months (and sometimes years). Going to the cabin almost every Sunday, DH taking us out on the boat. Doing Thanksgiving dinner this weekend for my parents, and maybe my brothers and some of the in laws. Then, I have to work on halloween costumes! Yikes!
I don't think I ever posted on my last race - the whole reason I started running to begin with. I finished the 11.2k/7miles in 1 hour, 11 minutes. I'm happy with my time, but I was SLOW, #50 out of 70 something. It was a fast crowd. Too bad I didn't do the 5k, they were slower and I would have come in third (based on my last 5k time)! I walked through the 2 water stations, then did a short walk of about 1 minute because of a bad side cramp. I pretty much found a group of women that where running a nice pace, and stuck with them. That motivated me to keep running. I should have run faster. I actually felt so good after that I ran most of the 1km kid's run with DS, then spent a few hours walking around the country fair and going to garage sales. I wasn't even sore after. I'm going to try to run around the lake every Friday.
