I found a neat thing on the internet today, so I wanted to share it.

Personally, we are far too "cheap" to pay for Cable.. but yes, we still like to watch movies, videos, comic clips.. all that.

There is a program out now (to download). It's free, but still in the "Beta" stage. It's called "VeohTV" and is at https://www.veoh.com

Now Veoh has been around awhile. Letting users watch movies, tv programs, clips, alot. That's cool, and they are one of the best...

What I like about the "free program" they have created is this. It's like a web browser, but for videos/movies, etc.. All in one place. As you know "ABC, CBS, PBS" etc.. all have videos they put up. Those are just some major places.. what this program does is allow instant access (to watch) videos from hundreds of networks (all in one place). You can even search for a movie, it will find it on their server, and search the net.

I did find a few bugs. But it is in the "beta" stage (meaning it's in testing). Still, I find it works very well. It will even pay attention to the types of movies you like, and suggest similar you might like. You can download videos, make favorite lists (and catagories)..

It's like your TV Guide.. you pick what you want to watch, and go to that channel. The only difference is.. you can pick from literally "thousands" of things to watch here... but it will be on your computer. There is even a HDTV channel, which will work on your PC (as a computer has higher resolutions then a standard tv). I checked those, and they ran kinda slow on DSL.. not sure about a cable connection.

Now that it's "feasable" to watch movies, tv shows, all that on the internet.. I want to know how to "pipe this" to my normal (large screen TV). I am very computer literate, but I don't know really how to do this. The different resolutions seem a problem to me, but I am overall not sure. I have made a program to change to "ANY" resolution "on the fly",, but the solution may be simpler. I really haven't gone into this much,,, it's just a thought hanging in my head. So if "Anyone" knows how to do this (cheap, simple and quick).. let me know. I am certain ALOT of people would like to pick their favorite "movie, M.A.S.H episode, etc.." and watch at will on their TV. It's possible, and possible cheaply.. so IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING TO HELP.. let me know.

Last note.. Alot of my blogs a few, some liked. I'd call it 60/40 (my favor.. lol). All I can say, if you don't like my blogs.. don't read. If you don't my comments on others (look past mine.. don't read). I'm pretty much gonna say what I feel, unless I get kicked off. Then I move on.

DALE (panthurdreams)is openly Gay.. he wrote an article about it. I read the article, and responded. It was about taking a test if your "homophobic". Well, I didn't take the test, but I responded what I felt.

I commented:
No, not homophobic. Screw whatever you want, I don't care. I'll support it as long as your partner is willing (legally even, voting.. I want equal rights). Do I think it's gross, yea a dude on a dude makes me hurl, I got no problem saying that. But then a babe on a babe is a thing of beauty! lol.. never said I am fair.. just honest... do your thing man... don't bother me really... gary

I think it's great that your not homophobic and I appreciate that you think it's gross as I feel the same about man on a woman action...makes me want to hurl just as much! Ha.. I loved that comment. I don't think he was offended what I said (and I didn't mean to either). Alot of people take offence what I say (quick), before they really understand what was said. I wrote from the heart, and is what I feel. I'll stick up for "anybody's equal" rights. I don't have to agree with what they do, or endorse it. To me, if they ain't hurting anyone... let them go. It's their life, not yours. But neither do I have to pretend what they do I think is "great"...

So again... for those who don't know me...
