Yep, my son (and Roxann's on here) Sebastian is starting to talk. He is like 8 months old now. He's getting pretty good at talking! Just a few words he messes up..
He says "GOOD" really good! I think he thinks "good means food". Cause he was always told "IS THAT GOOD!" when he ate anything. So now, doesn't matter what is in his mouth (could be a dirty sock) he calls it "Good!"..
He says "Hi".. I think he nailed that one. He also says "Baba" he nailed that too.. he Knows what a "baba" is..
He's a little confused on "Mama and Dada". He says.. "Mama" ALOT, looking me right in the face even! (grrr). Calls me Mama, when he knows it's Dada. No, he's not confused.. he's messing with my "reality"....
So I am getting him back... I hold the "Baba" right to his face.. and say "SAY DADA"... if he don't, I pull it away...
He can say "Mama" only a few times, then it's gone for good. Usually that's when he "finally says" DADA.. He always gets a huge hug, and a BABA...
I'm teaching the dude.. and he is smart as chit!!!
Ok.. above, there is a Christmas pic. We went out together with a little bucket and a bell. I told him, we could buy all the "oranges" he wanted with the money we make (oranges is his favorite food). Worked great... who would've thought we could fool so many with an 8 mo. Santa.....
