Jjoohhnn tagged me a few days ago but I've been so busy that I haven't had time to turn around this week. So, here are my answers. I tag Solitaire, Anniel and Elderjane.


1. How old are you? I share a birthday with Donald Duck and Michael J. Fox. Not telling where I stand compared to those two fine gentlemen except to say that I am younger than Donald. Much, much younger.

2. What is your favorite color? Periwinkle or blue violet. It depends on what light it's in I guess.

3. How old were you when you got your first kiss? You mean THAT kind of a kiss? I was 10. We were playing hide and seek and we hid from his sisters. (Someone else wrote they didn't remember because it was from their mother but come on, that doesn't count!)

4. Did you ever do something illegal? Yes, but only misdemeanors. And to paraphrase Steve from Looserobes, I was on a college campus in the 70's. Are you kidding?

5. What was one of your most embarrassing moments in life? I was 13 and had flown out to the east coast to visit a friend. Her mom baked me some chocolate chip cookies for the trip home. I had to change planes at JFK airport and while walking through the terminal, the bag of cookies split and they all ended up on the floor. I was mortified! I didn't want anyone to know that I had made that mess so I kicked them into a nearby bathroom....

6. Did you ever win anything major? Tickets to a sold out Elton John Concert. Our seats were so close I could see his eyelashes! The contest was to name a building that was going to be put up downtown. My entry was "The Renaissance Building." BTW, the building was never built.

7. Who was your first love? The boy who first kissed me at age 10.

8. What was your first car? A gold '65 Chevy Impala. It had bench seats and had been well used but I loved it anyway.

9. What is your favorite dessert? Probably sweet potato pie but it could be ice cream, too. (Ha, ha John, You tried to trick me by leaving this one out! You'll have to try harder next time.)

10. Have you ever been skinny dipping? Yes - I think my first time might have been on that trip to the east coast.

11. Have you ever been out of the USA? I've been to Canada many times. I've also been to Scotland and England.

12. What is your most "unfavorite" food? Cube steak. Even writing it makes me nauseous.

13. Do you have a hobby? Yes, petting fabric and my dogs.

14. Are you a jealous person? Sometimes.

15. What is your greatest strength and greatest weakness? Perseverance is probably my biggest strength. My biggest weakness is not knowing when to quit.
