Welcome back Sue! I hope this means you'll be able to post more often - I always enjoy reading about your thoughts.
I see what you mean about the look in Buster's eyes. Don't let him fool you - Gertie was smart as a whip but very good at hiding it. She too had a heart of gold. Glad to hear that Buster is on the mend. Those infections above the teeth are sneaky and nasty.
When can you come and do mine?
Contest is over now, and winners were announced yesterday? Did you win?
Roman abortion clinics, huh? And what's wrong with getting dressed up for Easter Sunday services? She's missing the point of being a good Republican - business, profits, sales, marketing... Good one Teal, I hate to admit being so gullible, but you had me at Palin.
I don't understand why people are like that. Perhaps her life wouldn't have lasted any longer - there's no way to tell - but the quality may have been better, less painful, etc. A former colleague of mine, "S" had a sister go in for routine gall bladder surgery. They opened her up and discovered cancer had spread throughout her body. There wasn't anything to be done at that point except to try to control her pain. "S" refused to ever go to another doctor because she blamed her sister's docs for not discovering the cancer earlier. "S" later spent three weeks in intensive care a few years later when she discovered her BP was over 300... Fortunately, her husband wasn't anti doctor so she's still alive today. She was one of the best teachers I've ever met. I do hope Steph comes for a visit. Sounds like it would be good for both of you!
Congress can CHOOSE to suspend their paychecks during shutdowns, but didn't. Maybe if congress automatically lost their paychecks during shutdowns things would have been different. Selfish, selfish, selfish! Now that he's got name recognition, I suspect Cruz will announce he's running for president soon.
I beg to differ with you. You were obviously a very different person and lived a different life than Elizabeth Smart. She lived a fairly sheltered life in in a well-to-do area of Salt Lake City, pop. under 200K. Chicago pop. in 1950 was 3.6 million. Due to her family's religion, she likely was taught to be demure and dependent, rather than independent. I'm very independent too and I'm not sure I could have escaped that situation at her age either.
I think that protecting your money is a great idea - I know some people with bipolar disorder who've done that and been in debt or had bad credit for many years. You're too young to have to deal with either of those problems.
Are/were you taking meds when you had the most recent episode? If you were, perhaps it's time for your doc to review the dose or med itself. We're here for you so keep in touch.
I hope you come back soon!
I wonder how long this will last - I just had a problem again. I'm not just talking about logging in on my page - I couldn't get to any MyBloggers.
You are indeed a lucky man!
I wish I had know the whole site was having issues. Today is the first day I've been able to get on the site using my laptop since mid July. I could get on with my iPhone but that screen is too small to spend much time reading, etc. What phone number did you have and where did you get it? I did find an email address but the instructions were so complicated I couldn't follow them.
I have always wanted to see this one. Glad to hear you recommend it so highly - I'll have to find a way to rent it or something.
